Who we are
The Remand Collective is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have a privacy question, want to exercise your rights or wish to make a complaint, email info@theremandcollective.org.
When you visit this website
Like any website, the server receives technical information needed to send pages to your device, including your IP address and the page requested.
We do not keep general website access logs. Apache error logs are created only when a technical error occurs. They may contain an IP address, the page requested, the time and technical details of the error. They are deleted after 14 days.
We process this information because we have a legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website.
Basic website analytics
We use Koko Analytics on our own server to understand which pages are viewed and how people find the website. It records the page viewed, the external referring site and generic campaign labels in a link, where present.
Koko is configured not to use cookies, visitor identifiers or device fingerprinting. It does not recognise returning visitors or track people across websites. We do not use analytics for advertising, profiling or decisions about individuals, and we do not send analytics information to a third-party analytics service.
We keep aggregate website statistics for 36 months. We do not intentionally include personal information, such as personal email addresses, in website addresses or campaign labels.
We use analytics only to produce statistics that help us improve this website.
Cookies and browser storage
The public website does not currently set analytics cookies.
WordPress stores a temporary item called wpEmojiSettingsSupports in your browser’s session storage. It records whether your browser can display emoji correctly, is not used to identify you and disappears when the browser session ends.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message or attachments. We use it to understand and respond to your enquiry and to keep an appropriate record of our correspondence.
We normally rely on our legitimate interest in receiving and responding to enquiries. Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for us to deal with your message.
Who we share information with

Information may be processed by:
- Linode/Akamai, which hosts our private website server;
